A02 Strategy

Strategy

The keywords for us are flexibility and applied agile. We know these to be also buzzwords, however, not for us or for you as our clients.

We’ve used a variety of techniques to create and refine our own implementation methodology. It is based on methodologies and techniques such as SSADM, PRINCE, RAD, DSDM, MOSCOW, LDS (ERD), Business Rules, Business processing pyramid

These are the five pillars of our successful IT strategy:

Assessment

Case specific fact finding provide us with a picture of your existing environment. Our objective is to identify improvement areas and solutions to challenges.

 Recommendations

Our research and analysis is summarised in a proposal for an individually designed solution that suits your business. If there are options then we will present at least 3 of them, and recommend one. Initially this is done at high level. Our recommendation include a sufficiently detailed, optimised plan based on deliverables. We’re sure you’ve come across plans that are simply unmanageable because of mainly their sheer size (1000s of tasks). We’ve come across them. Generally, needless headache and a hindrance rather than help. Our plans have in general less than 100 tasks and are clear and easy to understand and manage. Ownership, support, dependencies, status and evolution are clear.

 Implementation

Jannero manages all aspects of the implementation process, including strategic planning, design, procurement, project management, testing, training and documentation. During the implementation process, we ensure that we work closely with your existing team to produce the best possible results.

The most important thing about this is to have a common conceptual language inside the team. Therefore, most of the time,  we start with training and continuous support of local resources. We do this until everybody is on the same page and we can therefore  communicate effectively as a team. This training is hand on. People learn on the job. However they have to want, to be able and to put in the effort necessary to learn.

Monitoring

It’s part of our job at Jannero to make sure that solutions are optimal and that our clients know where they are at all times. The time and the resources available informs our planning. The plan is monitored and progress reported as agreed. Transition from project based work into BAU is achieved through a variety of ways. The most important way is to have BAU people (who mostly do the monitoring when a solution is live) working alongside us for a period so that they learn on the job and can be adequately supported in learning.

Management

For projects

Our project management experience and methodology allows us to be clear and efficient. We don’t do documents for the sake of it. All that we do has to be needed somewhere and it has to have a justification. In addition, we can implement quality assurance processes based on peer and technical reviews if agreed with our clients to do so.

For continuous support

Our uniquely designed approach to systems maintenance and support helps you to reduce costs by managing your systems with greater efficiency. We provide enhanced system stability with scheduled visits and round-the-clock troubleshooting that’s just a phone call away.
