Our experience
Especially relevant is that we have almost 25 years hands on consultancy and programming experience. Mostly we used SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and other Sql database applications. During this time we have contributed to configuration, testing, reporting, integration and the architecture of implementations. A large part of our past work has taken place in the healthcare sector (RIO, Cerner, Lorenzo, RTT). Hence we can consider health and the NHS our area of high level expertise.
As a result of our varied experience and, not least, for the fact that we always work with what the customer wants (has) we’ve used a variety of tools and software packages and concepts. Some of the most relevant are: Sql Server, Oracle, DB2, Jira, Git, Confluence, MySQL, ER diagrams, Project planning. While the tools and concepts are important, so is the project management. Therefore our experience in projects based on PRINCE, Agile and Continuous Integration can come in handy.
Because of the generic quality of our knowledge (database design and implementation, sql programming), working on projects in other industries occurred as a natural progression over the years. Some other industries we worked in are: recruitment, real estate, finance, utilities, crm.
Tools of our trade
The tools of our trade are many. The knowledge we poses is structured. Generally we use the patterns (templates) recognised in any activity, in any organisation. Sharing this “know how” with our customers informs them. Therefore we highlight the opportunities and potential issues that can manifest themselves in every day work or in project based activities. When we need to troubleshoot, we do!
Delivering solutions based on our own design for data quality, data cleanse, master data management, core and reference data mapping has become for us a trademark. If needed we can bring our own assets (hardware and software). Most of what we bring to customers we’ve built over years. These are generic tools, document templates and methodologies which we can use in your own project. In conclusion we have, we can and we will make a difference to our customers and their IT needs.
